Any product from sexy hair is bomb! This product in particular is a must, it smells so good and is one of my holy grails!And it smells great! No residue in the hair, very light weight and works great! My hair is a mix of ethnicities so it is a little coarse very curly but blow drys easy into a straight look with this product a high powered blow dryer and a big huge round brush. Highly recommend this been using it since their packaging was Straight Sexy branded and red and silver then pink and silver now black. Been using this for 20 years!I tried this for a heat protectant. It does smell good but it dries my hair out. I have switched to Davines.This has worked okay. I tried this in place of the purple product which worked so much better.I’ve been using this product on my hair for about 9 months and would definitely recommend it. I originally purchased it from Ulta, and when my first bottle was used up, I re-purchased it from Amazon. I have hair that’s wavy and can sometimes frizz if it naturally dries. Using this product to blow out my hair, my hair stays really shiny and maintains the style through the next day as well. I’ve also used it out of the shower if I know I’m going to heat style later and my hair has not shown any signs of damage thus far. Also, I like the scent of it as well.Smells great. Haven’t really noticed a difference if it helps protect my hair from heat damage since I have thin damaged hair already. My daughter loves it and her hair is a lot thicker than mineThis has a pretty strong scent to it and I don't care for it. I think the product does work well to protect your hair though.excellent product for minimizing breakage, split ends, prevent damage from heat (from any irons or blow dryers) and and moisture to your hair. would recomend to any one and for all hair typesAfter I wash and towel dry my hair I put a small dollop of this in the palm of my hands, rub it around then run my hands and fingers through all of my hair.The product is lightweight on my hair and my hair feels smooth and silky afterward, then I blowdry and style.My hair is wavy and I find that this does help reduce frizzy ends, I recently got an A-line bob cut and this helps my hair look smooth.It was hard to get on but wasn't uncomfortable. It doesn't pull your toes up so what's the point? My foot also came out of it in the night. Ill have to try another style.I found it too greasy even using a small amountAs someone with very thirsty 3b hair, I try to avoid using heat on my hair whenever I can…but for those days when I absolutely must use a hot tool on my hair, a heat protectant product is, without a doubt, a necessity. Enter Sexy Hair Style Prep Me Heat Protection Blow Dry Primer in its sleek, sexy black squeeze bottle with a cute moniker and nice, soft scent.I first tried this heat protectant when I decided to use my new curling iron to attempt to make soft, loose curls in my hair…I knew there would be lots of trial and error, so I needed a heat protectant that was tough and reliable and since I’ve been mostly impressed with Sexy Hair products, I thought that Prep Me might very well be up for that challenge. I was glad that Prep Me was not imbued with Sexy Hair’s signature Starburst candy scent…it just smelled soft and clean, which I don’t mind at all. I massaged some throughout my freshly-washed damp hair before blow-drying and styling. I could feel it working even as I applied it…it was giving much-needed moisture to my thirsty hair. Indeed, after drying and a very loooooong time styling, Prep Me held up really well, making my hair easier to smooth out and keeping it well-moisturized and frizz-free. After styling, my hair felt sooooooo silky soft…I was really excited by this product and how well it protected my hair from heat damage!I think $22.50 is a fair price to pay for a salon quality product that protects my hair so well from heat damage AND helps to make my hair silky soft and frizz-free…it’s like three products in one! I will definitely be buying this product again and keeping it on hand for those rare times when I use hot tools. And maybe, just maybe, I might use hot tools a little more often now that I have a heat protectant on which I know I can fully rely!I have used heat protector products before and really liked them so I wanted to try the version from SexyHair since I’m familiar with their name and have used other products from them.My current heat protector is a liquid format that comes in a spray bottle and the Sexy Hair version is a cream from a squeeze tube. I was a bit skeptical with the cream version since I didn’t want it to weigh my hair down. Luckily it didn’t and my hair was still flowy and lightweight.The advantage with a squeeze tube and a cream is that the product won’t go to waste. You can squeeze out just the right amount. My current spray bottle is gone in about a month or two since I can’t control how much comes out with each spray.After using the SexyHair Style Prep Me Heat Protection Blow Dry Primer, on damp hair after washing and then blow drying, my hair came out really nice. It’s healthier looking, soft, less frizzy and even reduces the static. It has a really nice pleasant smell and is not overbearing in any way. The scent doesn’t linger either.You won’t need to use a lot since the product spreads fairly well especially on damp hair and you can feel where the product has been applied so you don’t apply in the same area more than once.Based on my experience, if you are looking for a heat protector primer I would recommend this.
