Finger prints!!! I know they're expensive, but they are truly Worth the cost! To make a long story short I have cut my finger several times on my table saw over the last 40 years and the finger print area on a few of my fingers have very little circulation and get cold very quickly in cold wheather and is actually there a painful, you know what I mean! There is no other glove out there, believe me I've tried and have bought several over the years and I kept spending a little bit more each time. I was reading the review of the last pair that I Was going to buy, for around $300, and they said, don't waste your money, They do not keep the underside of your fingertips warm at all there is no heating element there, Spend the extra money and get the Hell Fire. I had never heard of them, They never came up in a search for heated gloves, and believe me I've looked for 5 years. So I now have a pair and let me tell you they not only keep the backs of your hands and fingers warm they also definitely wrap-around the finger tips to warm your finger prints! Hallelujah, Jimmy and the guys at Serius are the best company!!! I bought large and return them for the mediums with not a problem. They're a great bunch of guys and gals down there my advice is to invest in these gloves as they are really good looking and comfortable glove!!! And they have the highest million batteries on the market. Thanks a lot Serius, your the best!!!I bought these gloves after spending hundreds of dollars on non-heated gloves over the last few years in hopes of finding one that kept my fingers warm. My fingers get cold easily and these gloves kept me warm all day, even in very cold temperatures. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because the price tag is quite high - but I finally found a glove I can wear and will keep my fingers warm. The fit was good and the battery life lasted through a whole day of skiing.i bought these for my husbands ski trip this winter. He researched ski gloves and ended up picking these out. He is a very picky guy so I’m sure these are great.purchased for my husbands bday. he absolutely loved them. he said he used all 3 levels of heat during the day and it worked really wellSki boot heaters are designed around a simpIe fact -- it is the bottom of your toes that are vulnerable to cold, not the rest of your foot. Thus top brands like Hotronics work very effectively using a small heating pad placed on the foot pad of the ski boot underneath the toes. That is all it takes to keep your feet from feeling cold while skiing even in single digit and subzero temperatures.Similarly, it is the ventral side (underside) of your fingertips that are the part of your hands most vulnerable to cold, but this fact seems for years to have escaped the attention of heated ski glove designers. I have tried 4 brands of heated ski gloves over the past 5 years, including the highly touted Chaval gloves, but found them all to be seriously wanting because all of them heat the back of the fingers. None of them directly and effectively heat the under surface of the finger tips. None of them have batteries that last a full day on the mountain either. The Seirus Hellfire heats the whole back of the hand and fingers but also wraps around to cover the most vulnerable underside of the finger tips that other designs miss. The new compact ultra-battery pack provides about 8 hours of power on the medium heat setting, which is what I leave my gloves set on most of the time. There is a lower setting that can last up to 12 hours, suitable for temps in the 30s. There is also a high setting that is very powerful and great for a quick warm-up followed by a retreat to medium heat for maintenance.Skiing with these in cold temps at Vail was amazing. The first minute I put them on and felt the extensive warmth I knew that this was the glove I had been wishing for. They live up to the manufacturer's claims and are a delight to wear. The Hellfires are beautifully crafted, supple leather gloves with a soft comfortable liner and well-designed cuffs. They really do excel at keeping your finger tips warm, unlike any other heated glove I have tried before. They are expensive (so are most other brands), but they get the job done. Extra bonus -- the leather finger tips work on cell phone and tablet screens! The batteries are removable and are chargeable outside of the glove. That means you can also purchase a spare set of batteries to carry with you for use in the unusual circumstance that you run out of power while on the mountain. The gloves come with a very nice storage case with places for the battery charger, the battery packs, and the gloves. In use, the thin battery packs are easily placed in a glove compartment under the wrist. They are thin and light and do not cause any discomfort when installed in the glove.Although these gloves are very effective, for those that still prefer a mitten in very very cold conditions, Seirus does also offer a mitten version of the Hellfire for the same price.Exceptional product - very best in class and worth every fingertip! If you have Raynaud's like me or just need extra heat while spending hours in sub 30 F temperatures.. these gloves would be it.Pricey, yes but I think they are worth it..Battery pack attachment can use a upgrade but that doesn't really get in the way of gloves' utility.
