It's just shy of 2" wide and 16.5' long.People use this stuff in a lot of unconventional ways. I needed to cover a couple inches of hot gun barrel to prevent it from melting attachments that came in contact with the barrel. It works well for that purpose.One downside of this fiberglass wrap is that when you cut it, a bunch of little, tiny glass fibers break off and get everywhere. I advise you to cut in on a hard, flat surface where it's easy to clean up, or you'll be dealing with these hellish, little itchy fibers for a long time. It's like dealing with wall insulation, for those who know what that's like. One workaround for those who don't want to be touching bare fiberglass wrap, is after you've wrapped whatever you're wrapping with this stuff, you can cover the outside with thin silicone tape that adheres to itself without adhesive. The silicone withstands the outer temps okay and since it has no adhesive you don't have to worry about burning the adhesive off and causing the tape to fail. This isn't practical for large areas, but may be useful key points at which you're most likely to interact with it.Since my use case is very occasional with only rare peak temps of 1000F, I can't assess how well it handles a constant 700F as it claims to be able to do, with a peak temporary heat of over 3000F. But it looks thick enough to do so, especially when spiral-wrapped around the pipes in question.Maybe I wasn't looking in the right place, but I had a rather difficult time finding a product like this, so I'm glad I finally found it. I have no doubt that it will come in handy for other projects down the line!
