Got the sword to replace an older one I had for years. The balance is great and the blade from what I can tell has no deformities. The only two things I noticed is that the blade has a tendency to stick in the case and can be hard to pull out (but would rather have that than having it fall out) and the blade came slightly duller than expected. It is still sharp, and it still cuts, but it fails the paper test. Might have been due to shipping standards of where the sword comes from. Got it sharpened though and it has been cutting great.
