The Author is a friend of mine so when I found out he had written this book I couldn’t wait read about his bicycling adventure. I Must say I thoroughly enjoyed “Are You Ready To Ride “ . I am not a bicyclist or a bike enthusiasts , but I love a good adventure, outing, or road trip. This was all of those things. When I was in my twenty’s it would not have taken much more than a suggestion and I would have been right there with Bill and his friends making this trek to Canada . I also like Fig Newtons, so an excuse to snack on them for a couple of weeks might have been all the motivation needed to get me on a bike tour Anyway, the human adventure, trials, struggles, dangerous roads and traffic, heat, cold, weather, strange people and wonderful people, wildlife, road kill, and Bills comments and knowledge of the history and geology of the areas he traveled made for a very interesting read.Good job with this book Bill !
