A warm winter coat with a sophisticated air-the waterproof alpine action jacket is crafted with our patented thermal-reflective technology and 100g of synthetic insulation for all-day warmth. The jacket's premium cross-dye fabric features a lovely texture and full waterproof breathability, while a suite of ski-and-snowboard-ready features anticipate your other on-mountain needs.
This jacket is exactly what I wanted. I work full time with horses (year round, rain, snow, wind, sleet, hail). I needed a jacket that would hold up to cold and wet fall/winter weather, including snow. I haven't used it in the snow yet but I'm confident it will be warm enough. The jacket is very warm, but not overwhelmingly so. Today I was able to be active in it without sweating profusely and I stayed comfortably toasty warm.I actually have the 3 in 1 longer hem cut version of this jacket and that I absolutely LOVE so as soon as I opened the package and noticed the similarities in fabric and details I was super happy. This one is not quite as heavy as that one which is to be expected because that is a two piece coat and this is a single piece. The outer fabric shell feels very durable and tough. The color is a beautiful grayish black. Today it was raining ALL DAY with temps in the 40s and the jacket kept me warm and dry the whole time. I was so cozy! The rain beaded up on the jacket material and ran right off. The hood is large, but I used the draw string cords and it made it perfectly snug around the baseball hat I was wearing. If I tipped my head forward the rain rolled right off in front of me. I absolutely LOVE omni heat technology. I believe it gives an extra boost of warmth, especially if you are being active while wearing the jacket. My favorite aspect of omni heat, though, is how easy it makes it to get the jacket on and off. The slippery material helps your arms slide right through the sleeves! So much better than fleece lined jackets and coats. In addition, the inner spandex sleeve cuffs add extra coverage/length to the sleeve and help seal around your wrists! Like I said, I have not worn this specific jacket in the snow but I'm usually a very cold person and I'm confident I will be comfortable in it while working outside all day in the winter.I am 5'7" 138 lbs and based on other reviews I bought a medium. I was worried because I wanted to be able to add a layer if needed, but I also didn't want to HAVE TO add a layer to keep it from looking baggy/sloppy. I'm very happy with my size choice. Today I wore the jacket with a long sleeved t-shirt and a thin vest and it was great. If needed I could add a hoodie or remove the vest and it would still be a flattering fit. I was also worried that the cut would be short on my body, but the hem ends about halfway down my back pockets.I spent a lot of time researching jackets and I am SO happy I decided on this one. Don't hesitate any longer and just buy it!All the reviews I read were about the inconsistencies in sizing so if you're struggling to choose your size then please review my pictures and measurement/size info. I ordered an XL, am 5'4'' and ~165 lbs. Per the size chart, I would be a large due to my measurements. The first 3 images are of the jacket unzipped and loose while the last 2 images are of the jacket zipped up and fitted.Overall I'm somewhat happy with sizing up to the XL. The sleeves go past my wrists just a tad but the comfort cuffs with the thumb holes helped adjust the sleeve length to be more appropriate for my arm (aka, not going past my wrist as much). The jacket still has plenty of room with a sweater/hoodie underneath it. Also, the jacket keeps you very warm!Bottom line: if you want something more roomy and loose (ski/snowboarding use), then size up. If you're looking for a more fitted, every-day jacket, use the size chart as your guideline.I am petite at 5'2" and 110 lbs, and normally wear an XS but in this coat I got a Small. I work at a dog daycare in the Seattle area and needed a coat to keep me warm and dry, yet also have the ability to layer if I need to (in the winter I definitely do). The coat keeps me extremely warm, I just wish the hood had a fleece lining or something of the sort; it's the same material as the entire rest of the coat. I do love that the inside of the pocket have the soft inside, though. If it wasn't for my job and the fact that I am outside for most of the day, I definitely would have ordered an XS, otherwise the Small is perfect if you need it for long periods of time and want to layer.Overall I am extremely happy with this coat! It is excellent quality, and I like that it's actually semi-fitted and shaped to fit my body. I am expecting it to last me quite a long time (although with dogs frequently jumping up to greet me it may not last as long as someone who uses it for hiking or other outdoor activities), and when it does decide to fall apart, I will definitely buy another!I am 5'2" and 115lbs with measurements of 34B-26-36 and I bought a SMALL. I normally always wear XS but I wanted some room to layer. This coat is beautiful with the tiniest bit of detail in the fabric which adds depth to the black. The fit was fantastic; an XS would have been too tight for me to wear much more than a base layer.Great range of motion! The main zipper is covered which protects it from wind or water getting in. The sleeve cuffs keep cold air out even when you're not wearing them! The detachable hood is a good size; I wore a CC Beanie under it no problem. The fleece lined collar on the inside is HEAVENLY. I love all of the extra pockets to carry my wallet, phone, snacks, ect. The bottom of the coat hits just below my hips.It looks nice enough that I can wear it to work when I give clients tours! It also keep me warm when I take my dog for long walks. So far the coldest weather I have worn it in has been 30F and it has been so warm! This jacket is great! I just brought this as my only coat on a long weekend ski trip in the Rockies - it was perfect for everything from travel and walking around to skiing all day. The fit is just what I wanted (I usually wear XS-S/2-4, ordered a small for this jacket so I could be sure to fit base layers underneath - size small was perfect) and I LOVE how many big pockets there are. Held everything I needed for skiing and still had plenty of extra pocket space. I was also definitely warm enough the whole time. The little hand gloves were also an unexpected perk - I didn't think I'd wear them but I really ended up liking the feature. Also, I washed the jacket in the washing machine one day (and air dried it) after getting it covered in wine and it held up perfectly. Great jacket for a great price, definitely recommend it!Love the colour, love the quality, love the styling details and best of all it fits like a dream. Good length too, just below the bum. So warm and snug in the cold and yet waterproof and breathable when the weather gets wetter and warmer. Especially love the integrated hand warmers in contrasting navy. Highly recommended and worth every penny. This jacket is superb. Bought ahead of a four day weeeknd skiing in France. One day was chucking down rain - this coat (for my wife) outperformed my very high end coat in those conditions. Flexible, warm and high quality throughout.Love this jacket! Bought it for a winter hiking trip and it was perfect! Countless pockets are super useful. And although the jacket is really warm, you're not stewing in your sweat when you get active.I've been using this for the past winter. It's amazing: light yet very warm.As previously mentioned the jacket looks a little greener than the pic, however partner loves the fit and looks like a very good jacket for the price. Time will tell when used in anger at the end of the month. Good range of pockets including one in the arm for the ski pass.
