I have severe raynaud's in my feet & have used Heat Holders socks successfully the last few years. Now it's effecting my hands, and we're having a rough winter with record snow & sub-zero temps.I used them yesterday for about 20 minutes in sub-zero temps & snowing before one hand started feeling cold in the fingers. Today, it's 11 degrees with sun, and I had them on for 45 minutes cleaning up the driveway; my hands stayed warm the whole time. Worth the money for me right there.I have small hands & these are long in the fingers, which I think holds in heat better but you won't be texting or anything with them on. They are a bit bulky, but in the short time I've had them, they've softened & feel molded to my hand. I have no problem driving with them on, but you can't really dig in your purse or fumble with keys, etc. Not a bother for me, as they're warm enough my fingers don't get too cold if I have to slip them off briefly. I also love the wrist cuff for warmth & blocking snow; a coat pulls down over it no problem.I've spent a lot of money on keeping myself warm in our winters, and so far these are the best gloves I own.Small/Medium runs small.I'm an avid devotee of Heat Holders and was excited to try these after my old ski gloves wore out. On top of Amazon's craptastic packaging and delivery, I open the box to find what you see pictured. What kind of awful seam is that? I took that photo right after trimming the original thread blossom and seeing it was still a mess. The second photo shows a random loose thread on the left glove. If you turn it over, you can even see the terminal knot on that thread. That same glove also had some kind of dusty stain that, only because I need winter gloves NOW and don't have time to wait for a replacement, I decided to just try and wash off and deal with. The fingers are a bit long even for an XS. My fingertips don't feel as warm as I would have hoped (I have Raynaud's), especially in comparison to 100g Thinsulate-containing gloves. The overall construction seems cheap and much to my chagrin, I don't expect these will last more than a season. Extremely disappointing purchase. These gloves are amazing! Super warm and soft inside...I didn't get wet or damp hands when I shoveled and then went cross country skiing it was awesome! These gloves are much too tight in the wrists. They fit on the smaller side. I wear a size 8 ring and have fairly small hands and these are just a little too tight to be comfortable. They seem like they would keep your hands warm though. If you have really tiny hands then the L/XL should fit fine.My wife likes them. They keep her hands warm when feeding our horses.Gotta have 'em in Wisconsin winter!
