Who’d’ve thought I’d ever be writing a review regarding placemats, yet here I go:Actually selected these as a gift for a friend who has curtains in her kitchen which match these incredibly well. They are not made by the same company at all, yet play so nicely together ~ hooray! The colors are rich & vibrant, and the graphics are crisp and detailed.The little pierced borders have a delicate lace appearance, yet appear to be quite durable in gauge of actual thickness.These arrived tightly rolled up in a tube, yet uncurled and flattened out nicely beneath the weight of some books for a few days.And who doesn’t like fuzzy baby chicks?????So, I did not realize the type of material these were. On the positive side, they will clean well. On the negative side, they came rolled up and I have been trying to flatten them for 3 days and they still roll up when not weighed down with something. I love the design and they look pretty but come on, ship them flat next time!I purchase placemat sets from this firm as the quality of the material and the art work is outstanding. I used these on end and coffee tables around the house for the winter, and many said how nice they looked.This is a great product. Easy to clean and adds color to my table. I put water on them and laid them flat on the counter to dry to help them unroll. Worked like a charm.Beautiful colors and design but don't like the material they are made of.Beautifully detailed floral photo on Placemat. Good value tooThese have a really pretty design. The material is odd though. They also come rolled up tight so you’ll have to place something heavy on them for a while to get them nicely flat.Love these placemats. The color was bright, easy to wipe clean. They came rolled up but flattened out completely overnight with weight on the edges. Thin, but sturdy so dishes sit secure on it.
