ZetexPlus 23'' Heat Resistant High Temperature Gloves Extreme Heat Protection Up to 2000° F The ZetexPlus material used in Newtex gloves is a heavily texturized fiberglass fabric treated with a proprietary high temperature vermiculite coating. This coating allows heat to disperse evenly across the surface of the fabric, significantly boosting its heat resistance. This heat resistant glove can withstand temperatures up to 1500° F during longer duration applications and peak temperatures up to 2000° F. Extended direct contact with temperatures around 2000° F may damage these gloves. ZetexPlus Vermiculite Treated Fabric for additional heat resistance. Excellent for use in kilns and furnaces with peak temperatures up to 2000° F. Made from inorganic fibers; will not produce hazardous outgassing. Double Stitched and Reinforced- 23” length protects to the elbow. One Size Fits All; Oversize design to fling gloves off quickly if hand gets too hot. These gloves have worked out perfectly for my handling of warm glass in my kilns. (1400-1600 degrees). I have Kevlar but these protect all the way up my arms.
