Fit perfectly and has worked fine for a couple of weeks. Our dryer is 30+ years old and this is the second replacement heater. I think if we cleaned the lint out of the INSIDE of the dryer more often - not the filter, we clean that every load - the heater would last longer. Make sure you completely clean the INSIDE of the dryer and ALL the duct work in the dryer, and the vent line completely, and connect the wires properly when you install this heater. It is critical that you have clear, clean, unobstructed air flow across the heater and throughout the entire dryer system. Otherwise the heater will overheat and burn up making it looked like it exploded.
