A little pricey but works great. Just wish it had an extra cover.This heater is super easy to use and my rabbit loves it. I would recommend using an oven mitt or towel when removing it from the microwave. It stays warm for hours and it is much cheaper to use than a plug in heating pad.I put these in my outside cat houses every night in winter, one per house and no electricity is needed to provide 7 hours of warmth to my feral friends! It feels so good to provide not only shelter, but HEAT also! I always double cover the disc so no one gets too hot/burned bcaz the disc heats up very hot. These discs are awesome! The cats love me!!!!I like that these are reusable and easy to heat in microwave. Dont use the cover. Instead put them between the layers of a folded blanket it stays warm longer.Loved this product easy to heat & last for hours. Bought for family member on dialysis days as they keep it really cold in there. I heated it one time a little longer than recommended and it kind of melted the hard plastic and when it cooled off it is all bumpy now but still works.Got this because I had 4 bottle babies that I needed to keep warm throughout the night. Its convenient to just pop in microwave and put in their bedding. I was told to use a sock with rice as a warmer (please don't hound me) and that worked fine, it just didn't last long which led me to buy this product. My kittens did NOT lay directly on it. I don't know if it was because it was hard and not comfy, or they didn't feel the warmth. It does recommend to place a blanket over it and when I did, I couldn't feel the warmth. When you held it in your hands you can feel it slightly but not much and it would hold that warm for several hours. I then used both sock&rice and this product and the kittens always went to lay on or around the sock. So based on the kittens reaction, they did not care for this product. I never saw them lay on it or even near it. They were always on the sock. FYI I microwaved it according to my microwave wattage so I followed directs, kittens didn't like it! But it did hold the warm, that I will say was a good thing but it didn't make a difference to the kittens.We have been using this product "Snugglesafe " for over 7 years and we swear by this product. We use them for our outdoor feral cats in their houses and they stay warm up to 7 hours. We have also used them for our foster kittens and our own 2 cats. Very easy to use and well worth the price. We own 5 Snugglesafe heating pads and all our kitties Love them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product to all pet owners; dog and cats. Great for elder/older pets too.Baby kittens must be kept warm. Trying this for our old dog who lost his companion of 14 years and is used to some body heat in his bed at night. Hopefully this will do the job. Easy to use. Hard material but ok with the cover.Our bunny loves this. As she lost her sister recently we thought we would get it for her to snuggle up to at night. The first night we covered it over with newspaper but in the morning the paper had been pulled away and bunny was sitting on the fluffy cover. She's sat on it ever since, even in the daytime when she's in her hutch.These do heat up well - not too hot for your pet, but I don't really like the fact they are rock hard rather than a snuggly pillow.Great for young puppies that have just left their motherThese are brilliant. Perfect for a puppy that is getting used to sleeping on their own and handy to warm up an older dog or cat too. Heavy plastic so hard to chew and heavy so not likely to be used as a toy.
