I love the comfort and design, I have a bad back and promblem feet and these are perfect, I have these in gray also ,favorite boots couldn't wait for the weather to change so I could start wearing themI absolutely love how these look! They’re light and very warm. They do look well made and like they’d stand up to winter activities for a few years. Didn’t test outside because, we’ll it’s August and very hot outside right now. Just needed new winter boots and decided to buy on the off-season. I wear a 9.5 in shoes and have a fairly thick foot that ranges somewhere between wide and medium width. I ordered in a 10 and with my winter socks on, I was cramming my foot in there quite hard. I knew I’d be sorry if I kept them. Sadly, one size up was a $40 increase in price, so I ended up opting for another brand. Definitely order up 1-1.5 sizes! These boots were perfect for my trip to Alaska! Over a few weeks and in all kinds of weather these boots were worn. They held up so well and we’re easy to clean. They fit so well and we’re extremely comfortable! Best purchase!I haven't worn mine outside yet so I cannot attest to resistance. They do however fit great, like a gym shoe. Its a super warm and cozy fit. I ordered my size and will not need to return. Fit as expected. They fit snug and are very soft. The fluffy parts feel like fur! There is some soft fur-like material on the inside of the boot that goes down to about your ankle. They are really good quality and should last a long time. Have nice laces to adjust the boots even more to how tight you want them! Very cushy. They are a little hard to get off, but you just have to loosen the laces a bit more. The boots end at a good length and snow wouldn’t get in them if you had them tight enough. Overall these boots are AMAZING! My favorite boots I have EVER had!!!?BEWARE SIZING ISSUES BEFORE ORDERINGI almost took off a star because of how off the sizing is, but if I had to rate everything else about the boots except the sizing, I’d rate them a 6/5. So I kept it at five stars. It’s important to start with the sizing. I wear a 6.5 in running shoes. I have had several pairs of Columbia minx mid boots in size 7 that fit perfectly, so I initially ordered a 7 in these. Way too small. Exchanged for a 7.5 and honestly they’re still kinda tight but not too tight to not be able to love them. I think an 8 would fit me better but I’ve already committed to this pair. I only wear thin socks with them because otherwise it’s too tight. So make sure you order at least a full whole size up from your normal shoe size.Aside from the off sizing, these boots are the boots I’ve been searching for for years. I am a dog walker in the Midwest. I walk miles every day in whatever weather comes at me. Previously, I always had to choose between boots that were comfortable to walk in (the Columbia minx mid) and boots that could handle the elements without my feet getting wet (Pajar grip). No boot that I have ever tried has been both comfortable and waterproof. Many reviews boast tons of waterproof boots as “comfortable,” but my standards for comfort considering my job are different. These are the only boots I’ve ever tried that do not leave my feet feeling weird after a long day of walking in them. The transition from warm weather (wearing running shoes every day) to cold weather (needing the warmth and/or protection of boots) is usually a difficult one for my feet and legs since most boots force me to walk slightly differently which can have effects if you walk as much as I do. These boots feel the same as my running shoes. Before I tried these, I tried the new Merrell boots that look like high top sneakers, and even those were too clunky for me. These boots are perfectly slim to as not to affect my normal walking stride.Enough about comfort. Let’s talk about the other pros. They are warm. As I mentioned earlier, because they fit small, I’ve been wearing thin socks with them. Just regular non-winter socks, and my feet haven’t gotten cold. The fur lining is very soft. And most importantly, the one thing that sets them above my previous favorites, the Columbia minx mid, they are actually waterproof. I walked through a heavy wet-snowstorm today and my feet stayed dry.I cannot recommend these boots enough. Just make sure to adjust the size you order.I actually love these boots. I am a sz 9 or 9.5 but read reviews and went up to a 10. They fit like a glove! My toes are at the edge but not uncomfortable...just right. They are very narrow but I have slim feet so that is fine. If you have wide feet, these WILL be tight and probably not the boot for you.I love the style. I usually wear a size 6.5 to 7. I ordered a size 8 based on the reviews and they fit perfectly. Snug, but that's the way I like it. If you want more room, go up another 1/2 to full size.I live in London, where the weather does not become ridiculously cold but is still wetly miserable during the winter. I also walk a fair amount (12k+ steps a day, every day) and expect my footwear to survive this.I generally buy UK Size 5 shoes (occasionally a UK Size 5.5 if available). I purposefully bought a size larger - a UK Size 6 - and they fit perfectly (width and length). This is when I wear "normal" socks, but as the laces are fully adjustable, you can still tighten/loosen for thicker socks.Fallen arches have meant I needed to put insoles into these boots, but I still have plenty of room after messing with the laces slightly.Having worn them for roughly five out of twelve months, the treads are only slightly worn and otherwise they're still in perfect condition.I have terrible circulation and my feet don't feel cold even slightly in these boots. They are super comfortable, the fluffy fake fur (which goes from the top of the interior of the boot to just above the ankle) is surprisingly toasty, and they survive London puddles, which is all I could ask for. These are the kind of boots you can wear somewhere smart as theyre not bulky. They do the job in hand, theyre very warm, and for me have kept my feet dry and warm in the snow in Iceland .They arent a loose boot, however i didnt find them tight either unlike the other reviewers. They have laces so you can make them as tight or loose as you wish. I have wide feet and they feet me just dandy !!The soles are lovely and cushioned to walk on, no worries there.RE SIZING ... i think the reason some others struggle with the fit is because they didnt get the right size for them.... you have to go up a FULL SIZE. not a half, get the complete size bigger, and hey presto, they will fit !!Love, love love these boots!!! I'm writing this review from my husband's Amazon account. I bought the 8.5 US and they fit my UK 6'5 feet perfectly. I've worn them for everyday walking and mountain hiking for two years now and they're still waterproof and look good as new. When they finally need replacing I'll definitely be getting more of these :-)I used this during my winter holiday in the arctic circle 5 months ago and I must say that this made life easier. It’s very light and not bulky. I’m usually a size 3 UK but upon reading the reviews I decided to buy a size 5, but even then I could only fit 1 thin socks and 1 thick socks. I usually have cold feet due to bad circulation so I used heat pads as well as the 2 socks and that saved my life. I could stay for hours and hours outside in negative degrees and my feet is still toasty warm.Boots looked nice. But sizing is really all wrong. I had to send back I'm a size 5 and have thin narrow feet and calves. These were a far to small and narrow. I decided not to order the size 6 because they would probably still be to narrow the size up had increased from 90 to over 200 quid. So went for a different brand instead
