To start off with I am an older woman and I have smaller feet. I ordered these from the children’s department and they fit perfectly. They are warm, waterproof, they look great and they fit great! Got these at a great price for Columbia boots!Bought these boots after watching a friend’s daughter hike through the snowy Wisconsin woods effortlessly as my kid clomped around in cheap snow boots. She looked like she was wearing the most comfortable boots ever. My daughter LOVES them. Lightweight and truly waterproof!! She walked in the frigid creek for 5-10 minutes and not a drop got through. Last couple of hikes I’ve had no worries while I usually say “Careful, don’t get wet” about a million times. Going to buy a pair for myself!Purchase these for my eight-year-old daughter and she loved them. She said they’re very comfortable and lightweight. Haven’t had too much experience with them outside but I assume they’ll be a great daily winter boot. Probably not the most waterproof and warmest option but I don’t think they are intended for that. I could be wrong though because she has not use them outside for any extended periods yet. Either way definitely worth picking up and the size 2 kids fit her well.I got these for my 12yo for a 2-night school trip in the Colorado mountains. Students spent their days outside learning and hiking while temps were in the single digits or teens, and snow was knee high. My daughter loved these because they’re lightweight and easy to hike in, not at all cumbersome. They never leaked, and with toe warmers, her feet stayed toasty. Great purchase! These are okay. Don't look like the picture, the picture is a brighter blue. They seem to keep my feet warm, but I can't say they are water proof.I bought a pair of LL Bean snow boots that were supposed to be waterproof (it was a lie), they were so cheaply made and yet $100. I looked on Amazon and found these, decide to give them a chance. WOW. I LOVE them. They really are water proof and fit perfectly, feel well made. I've had no issues and el buy another pair for sure.Size up when you buy these. They run small. These are durable, waterproof and very warm. I wear these in -30 temps and my feet stay warm.I bought these for my 9yo daughter. She normally wears about a size 4 shoe, but I know some boots run small, and she could be wearing thicker socks, so we got a size 5. They fit great, are comfortable, keep her feet warm, and she really likes them. My only issue is that they are not exactly waterproof. The first couple of days she wore them, we had a couple inches of snow, only like 1-2 inches. After she came in and took her boots off, I reached inside, and the insides were the slightest bit damp. So, these boots may be fine for light snow, but not for too much more than that.So happy to have ordered them. These boots are very comfy, which is very important for me being pregnant and keep my feet snug and warm. I find that I use them more than any other shoes/boots in this cold weather.Only thing is that I trusted the other reviews saying these were on the small side. It's not.I'm size 4.5. Sometimes need 4, if I want the shoe to be more spacious or I can't find half a size, I sometimes get size 5.Here, after reading other reviews, claiming these boots were small, I ordered size 5, thinking it must be the right size for me. However, size 5 were way too big, even with thick wintere socks.I contacted the great customer service of Amazon and got size 4 instead. These are perfect (and again, I tend to be 4.5 more than 4).The only thing I can think of size-wise is that my feet are quite narrow, so maybe those who wrote the boots were small have wide feet. Wish I had known before, as it would've saved me a lot of trouble.Normally 100% happy with Columbia boots but these are done in a very illogical way with a heavy duty plastic ending somewhere in the middle of your heel on the outside that keeps cutting your heel on the inside. Bruised to blood after few attempts to wear. The best boots ever the only boots that actually do grip the pavements were white with ice really slippy and not once in my 6 mile walk did I slip love themHaven't had these long, so it may be too early for a review, but so far these are exceptionally great for walking. I'm an adult with small narrow feet and kids' boots are usually really clunky and uncomfortable to walk in. These are slim and excellent for walking distances. My feet feel super warm most of the time. However, its only November and it hasn't been below -10 yet. Also, I noticed that my feet were kind of cold when walking through the snow... waiting to see how they hold up to the depths of Canadian winter.Despite that snow temperature problem, feet stayed dry which is important--even after walking through a slushy parking lot.
