The length and shape of this spatula are perfect. I use it every day for stir frying and sauteeing on cast iron skillet. I don't leave nor rest it on the hot skillet and it hasn't melted nor warped after 4 months of use. I like that it is made in the USA.I could see where this would be ideal for a griddle, grill or flat stovetop. It is well put together. However, the angle of the turner is very shallow, almost flat. That makes it difficult to use in a pan with sides.Again-not complaining about the item, but be sure you are buying it for the right application.Chose this spatula because it stated it was made in the USA and the company's social responsibility efforts, but unfortunately it melted upon first use. Made scrambled eggs on moderate heat in a Greenpan ceramic pan. It started leaving black marks as soon as it came in contact with the pan. Now I'm having trouble removing the melted material without scratching the pan (see attached picture). I bought 2 of them, assuming they would be usable. I will pursue returning them. Hope this company corrects it's quality issue so I can buy from them in the future. This spatula tip melted only after a few uses. I only use it in a non-stick frying pan on moderate heat. I have contacted the seller to let them know. I purchased it based on the product description and, very importantly, because it is made in the USA. I would not purchase this product until they fix this problem.I was very excited to purchase this US made product and initially was very happy. Unfortunately after only using it twice it started to fall apart when I was using it for whisking a sauce but couldn't return or replace it because it was two weeks after return date. I was really hoping that buying made in the USA would mean that it would perform and last. This is a great product. I looked at many different brands, but glad I chose this one. Very good quality and workmanship.:)It's a nice size and shape, but the lip/edge has started to peel and melt after just two uses on non-stick pans at low-to-medium heat. Can't recommend.Don't waste your money. This is not heat resistant at all. On med/low heat it melts faster than a much cheaper spatula.
