I’m ALWAYS cold….and these are so comfy!!! Love them!I used to get foot cramps multiple times every night. They disturbed my sleep, which made me tired the next day. I tried all sorts of preventives: creams, lotions, pills, exercises, electric socks, etc. The cramps continued. Actually the electric socks helped, but the batteries and wires pressed against my legs and irritated my flesh. Finally I decided to try these ultra-thick Heat Holders socks. To my surprise, they worked. The only time I get foot cramps now is if I twist my foot in a weird way in my sleep - but that’s not the socks’ fault. I have two pairs of these socks, in different colors. Because I only wear them for sleep, I don’t have to wash them constantly. I machine wash them on a hand-wash cycle, and hang dry. They air-dry slowly, which is why it’s good to have more than one pair. Maybe they’d dry fine in the drier - I’ve just never tried it. I like these socks so much that I’ve given away my expensive electric socks. If I had to sleep in regular socks or barefoot, I think I’d rather stay up all night, to prevent the cramps. That’s how much I trust and depend on these Heat Holders thermal socks.I wear a size 7.5-8 shoe but my feet are fairly narrow. I found these socks too big in both width and length (distance from toe to heel). Also, the toe seam was bulky and the edge kept shifting under my toes which was very uncomfortable — maybe this wouldn’t be a problem if the socks weren’t so big on me.The socks seemed like they’d be pretty warm. They are very thick — I was only planning on wearing them at home, there’s no way they’d work with my regular size shoes. The outside is a knit material almost like a sweater, and the inside was “furry” for lack of a better term? Very soft and fuzzy, and brushed — the fibers were kind of matted together and very fluffy and cloud-like, not like individual hairs/threads. I do wonder how long this texture would last after washing and wearing a few times… unfortunately the socks fit so poorly I probably won’t be wearing them enough to find out.I got a pair of these for Christmas and almost immediately ordered 2 more pair for myself and 1 pair for my wifethey are a bit expensive, but are well worth it if you suffer from any type of circulation issues in your feet these are a lifesaverI had mild frostbite in my feet as a kid and have struggled with cold feet ever since , these keep my feet warm working outside all day in the winter , I used to suffer or wear heated socks that were uncomfortable with wires running everywhere in heavy insulated bootsnow i can work outside in shoes (weather permitting) with no problem at all and not suffer all nightI have tried so many thermal socks in the past that feel like they don't actually do anything. The last time I went skiing, I wore 2 pairs of a different brand and my toes still went numb. These socks were incredible. I wore them inside my normal sneakers, in 32 degrees outside all day in snow and slush, and my feet stayed warm. They never got uncomfortably hot or sweaty either, even when I wore them inside. I'm also thrilled that they come in pink. The only downside is that they are incredibly thick so you need to have space in your shoes for them, but with sneakers it wasn't a problem. Definitely buying more of these!I love these socks. I literally wear them all winter long, any time I'm not wearing shoes. On cold days, it's always my feet that are cold, but these are so warm they let me turn the heat down. I like these so well that I stock up on them when I find them on sale and have given all my other fuzzy socks to Goodwill. All that said, there are some downsides that may affect how these work for some folks: These are super thick and fit loosely, so they do not work well in shoes except for very loose-fitting ones, such as Crocs or rubber rain boots. The material will pill on the outside. For me, they're too warm to use as bedsocks -- on very cold nights I sometimes wear them to bed over a thin sock, knowing that I'll end up kicking these off sometime during the night because my feet have gotten too warm. Because of the loose fit and thick material, some folks might find these more slippery than the typical sock. They don't bother me, but they might bother someone with shaky balance. These socks are too large for my 6.5/7 feet. They don't even stay on my feet when I walk around..... and I really hate to say that! I love my Alpaca socks. They feel good, they are warm, they are snuggly.... but they wear out in the soles unless you buy the really thick ones. I'm not much for darning socks, either. Saw these and thought I'd give them a try. They are great. Don't usually like synthetic materials, so my loving these came as a complete surprise. We live in a drafty old ranch house and the floors are really cold, in the winter. This winter the temp got down to 12, several nights. Now, that might not seem cold to those who live North of the Red River, but in our little piece of Texas paradise - that's REALLY COLD. When I wear these socks, my feet are warm! That's amazing, because my feet are even cold in the summer..... These wash like a dream, stay fluffy, stay warm, and seem pretty indestructible. I find them too thick to wear with shoes, so they are really more slippers but that's okay for me. They are very pink....Product is qood.. warm.. but only concern is that after wearing these socks none of your shoes will fit you.. so either you had to buy new bigger shoes or grab your father's shoe..?I already had a bigger pair of shoe.. with which they fit perfect and also keeps me warm...?These are soft and one would assume warm. But they are just barely warmer than normal socks. I would not recommendI just tried this on (right out of the parcel) and although the package was sitting in the cold for hours, it is just so warm and i really love it.i have ordered more from sears.ca (go to this website and search 'heat holders' and you will find them for 15.99 CAD.my feet are always cold and this is so warm! This is my wife's second pair of these. She is always cold and these are her go-to product now for warming up.makes her feet look like giant sausages
