I originally ordered this in a medium as that's what I usually wear. Width-wise it was fine, but I was looking for a coat that would be longer than a parka. I then ordered a large and it hit me perfectly about six inches above the knee. (I'm 5'9"). The sleeves are a bit long and I have more than enough room for bulky sweaters, and I like the inside cuff to keep out the cold. My only complaint is that a medium was $118 and the large was $164. That would never happen in a department store for one size to be that much more than another.I loved the look and weight of this coat. Unfortunately, the sizing was way off, or so it seemed. I normally wear a medium but I’m not certain that even a large would have been appropriate.Love this coat. Lightweight and keeps you warm. I always size up on coats to allow room to wear sweaters. Even thou I did size up one the butt area is a bit snug. I still kept the coat because I can use the bottom zip to give me that room. If I sized up another size the top would look very large and sloppy. Wish they made coats with some of us big bottom girls in mind…like a curvy fit.Bought one size bigger because I usually wear a sweatshirt and turtleneck underneath. This jacket is just as I hoped...lightweight, roomy in the shoulders, nice fit, not bulky and very comfy. Love wearing it in the car because it is very lightweight. I won't know till next winter if it is really warm during the cold winters in New Hampshire.Ordered for stylish grandma and she loves it! Looks nice, fits right and it's warm. For being so lightweight it does a wonderful job keeping her warm.Disappointed in color misrepresentation, sent back.Great jacket tho if you like dull grey.Okay, okay, okay. I read the reviews. Everyone kept saying this is a warm jacket. With my poor circulation, I was skeptical that this thin-looking jacket would do the trick. It is the warmest jacket I’ve ever had (even more than my older Columbia ski jacket). If it’s warmer than freezing, I’ve had to unzip or completely remove the jacket to stop sweating. Highly recommend. You’ve really stepped up your game, Columbia!Nice warm very soft, not noisy, great length, usually wear a 1x but xl fit perfect.This coat is so warm considering how thin it is due to the omni heat. The thin-ness of it makes it look so flattering and not bulky.I live in Canada and it keeps me warm in our -30 weather.For reference I am 5'3, 130lb and 26" waist, and this fits me perfectly with extra wiggle room incase I want to wear a big sweater under it.Muy hermosa parka, cumplió con mis expectativas y la talla sí fue la correcta.
