[Safe and Reliable] TDSF self regulating heating cable is the perfect solution to protect pipes from freezing up to 2" diameter. TDSF Self-regulating pipe heat cables are a revolutionary new way to keep water flowing down to -40℉, including inlet pipe, drain pipe, sewer , palm tree frost protection etc.
[Energy Saving Technology] The heat tape built-in thermostat automatically turns cable 37℉(3℃) on and 50℉(10℃) off. More efficient, saving you money on your utility bills. 120V, 3 watts/ft at 50 ℉. It adjusts the power output based on the temperature and allows the cable to be overlapped during installation, so you’ll never use more energy than is necessary.
[Easy to Install] Pre-assembled to use out of the box. Keep the cable straight-traced, spiral or overlapped on the pipe and valve, affix with a good electrical tape and insulation. The lowest installation temperature of the heating cable is 14℉. Secure the thermostat(plug end) tightly against the pipe(the coldest end of the pipe).
[Compliance and Durability] ETL approved. Pipe heat tape is made of tough XLPE inner insulation, a continuous ground braid, and a weather-resistant PVC outer jacket. Grounded plug with pilot light. Waterproof grade is IP65.
[Testing before installing] Uncoil the cable, plug in the cable, insert the thermostat part of the cable into an ice bucket for a few minutes. When the temperature is below 37℉, the thermostat will activate the cable to function. It usually feels warm to the touch in a few minutes. You should turn off the cable once you feel the slight warm.
