During a bad winter storm when the power was out, I used these to cook my food in a small stove (also sold by the same company) and also used 3 more of these just around the house in places to keep the house warm as we don't have any natural gas or a fireplace. be careful the bottom of the can gets hot enough to melt things or catch wood on fire, so you have to sit them on something like a brick or a ceramic coaster, etc. I now keep about 20 of these in reserve for the next time that happens. They are much more idiot-proof than most of the other heating solutions out there.
