Very easy to install and both auto and manual settings work.I bought a 30,000 BTU Dyna Natural Gas heater as a back up heating source after experiencing the Texas power outages as a result of the February 2021 winter freeze. I read reviews prior to my heater purchase and I decided to match the heater with the Dyna fan, although I did pay more for the fan in comparison to other brands it was really easy to install and the part insert perfectly. I have now finally turned the heater on because of recent chilly days and the fan doesn't seem to blow very strong however; it does distribute heat well somehow. I have a large living room with 10ft ceilings and the heat makes it's way into my kitchen and hallway within 1hr while on the lowest heat setting. I checked my thermostat prior to turning the heater on and it measured 73 degrees and 1hour later tops the heat made it's way throughout the opened rooms changing my thermostat reading to 78 degrees. I would recommend this fan if you're considering buying the Natural gas heater.Easy to install, but I wish the fan operation was quieterWhen the fan is running, it is very loud, and we find that it really dish hy circulation the heat from the heater very much.Easy installation. Removing the access panel on the back of the dyna flo furnace was a bit of work. 2 of the welds were over welded. Careful not to cut yourself. Barely missed gashing my wrist/palm/thumb by hundredths of an inch.Only caveat. Which wasn’t a functional problem. You have to an outlet close. I did. However, you may not. And there is the black power cord now running across the wall to the outlet. Kind of like a wall mounted television. My tv’s have the wires hidden in the wall. Didn’t see any mention of how the appearance is changed by adding this fan. Will most likely add an outlet behind or just to the side, where the wire will not be seen. Have been unable to test functionality. The gas company did not install my gas meter yet. Sure it will work fine than the heat alone. This fan works great and really helps with heating up a cold room but it's made of plastic and the heat will warp the plastic housing enough that the blades won't turn. But if it's set to Auto and plugged in all the time then when it gets that hot it turns on and cools itself as well as distributing more heat.As a general rule, when the heater is set to low (only the center panel burning) it doesn't get hot enough in the housing to turn on the switch built into the fan. But, when set to medium (3 panels burning) the fan will come on.I believe that one time I didn't plug it in (the heater itself requires no power) and set it to High (all 5 panels burning) that is when the damage occurred- it didn't work after that. The new rule is to plug it in and be sure it's set to Auto any time is turned on.I would view this more as a feature to your heater than a huge improvement. Does it make it more efficient? Probably, Maybe.I can't really tell. Its not as loud as others may make it out to be. But definitely not whisper quit. I use mine out in the garage so it doesn't bother me. I compare the sound to a charger for a cordless drill... There's. 3 settings off, on, and auto. I have mine set to auto. But if I turned it off I don't think it would make that much difference how the heater heat the place. Is it needed? Not really In my opinion but I'm sure it makes it more efficient. blowing the hot air out does make sence to me. I probably would turn it off if I used it in my living space just cuz of the extra noise.Would I buy it again? yes for the garage but not for in side my house. The blower is easy to install, knock out the metal plate with a screw driver and put in 4 screws. The noise is what one would expect from this type of blower. The only downside is that the automatic function of the blower will not activate unless the heat setting on the stove is set on the middle or higher settings. It takes a lot of heat to activate and it will take a few minutes. I still recommend the blower as you have the manual blower function. The fan is a good idea but it wouldn’t fit the propane heater that I bought. The fan is a must for the heater...Really improves the amount of heat by adding the fan.It works good and was easy to installParfait comme mentionnéSatisfait
