I was actually disappointed in the product as the bar that connected the platforms did not fit in securely and there was nothing to stabilize it. I ended up placing the platforms on different parts of the cage. Kind of defeated the purpose of it.I like the platforms, but the only problem I have is that it didn’t come with a way to attach the pole to the two platforms. It literally just has a hole in the wood of each platform and screws on either end of the pole but nothing to keep it secured on. The screws stick up through the platforms like it’s supposed to have a bolt or something to secure it but there’s nothing. Other than that I like them as just 2 individual platforms. Probably best to be used as steps for your animal.The only reason I am taking off a star is because I have something to compare it to. I am trying not to be too picky with what I receive, but I also appreciate quality especially for an item over $10. The metal pieces were tarnished which is not something very serious, as long as there isn't rust. However, I have another set similar to this (the wood is a bit more polished, and there are two round swing nut plates for each bolt rather than one). Those plates when you put one on the inner side of the cage and one on the outer, it not only helps preserve the bars of the cage, but allows it to be tightly screwed on and easily removed later. This item had one plate per wing nut.Just used two shelves separately, the holes drilled into the shelves for the post to mount into were drilled out so large that the post just dangled around with no tight fitI ordered 2 and both had the same hardware. Not enough to put it together.Not good for Ratties. It is a really size large platform and made very well for habitats... but it is made from Pine and very toxic for your ratties. Do not use for rat enclosures. It will harm them. But aside from that it is very well made and sturdy. Wish i could have used it for my ratties, they would hAve loved itNot sturdy with the pole attached and the screws stick out on the top and bottom, which I thought wouldn’t be safe for my chinchillas or thought they might get caught on as they hopped around. I thought of covering or capping them with wood blocks or nuts, but I just used them as two separate shelves (a little on the small side for my chinchillas, so I used them kind of like steps up to another platform. I wanted the corner mount, but the two shelves aren’t bad for the cost of this. Just not good enough assembled to use as a corner shelFMy Chinchillas love these ledges however I do not have the bar to connect them in. I don’t think they would enjoy them as much if I connected them. But for the price, 2 ledges can’t beat it!Product is qood.. warm.. but only concern is that after wearing these socks none of your shoes will fit you.. so either you had to buy new bigger shoes or grab your father's shoe..?I already had a bigger pair of shoe.. with which they fit perfect and also keeps me warm...?These are soft and one would assume warm. But they are just barely warmer than normal socks. I would not recommendI just tried this on (right out of the parcel) and although the package was sitting in the cold for hours, it is just so warm and i really love it.i have ordered more from sears.ca (go to this website and search 'heat holders' and you will find them for 15.99 CAD.my feet are always cold and this is so warm!This is my wife's second pair of these. She is always cold and these are her go-to product now for warming up.makes her feet look like giant sausages
