ALUMINA CERAMIC HONEYCOMB SOLDERING PLATE HONEYCOMB BOARD SIZE 4" x 4" x 3/4" Honeycomb Soldering Plate is made Alumina Ceramic that is perforated like a Honeycomb pattern, contains holes to reflect heat.
Board can be use in soldering and welding operations for delicate and intricate jobs, widely used in silver smiting and Jewelry Making. The Honeycomb holes also provide anchor points for pins or wires, used to hold parts in place on the surface.
A lightweight block is made of non-asbestos ceramics. Solder Board withstands heat of up to 2000°F/1093°C. Board must be use on a NON Flammable Surface.
NOTE Use your old Burs (3/32"-2.35mm) as stem posts to position parts, wires on to the Board (as Pictured).
