The fit is perfect, just like the O’Neill super freak booties these replaced. I prefer the high top to keep sand and gravel out of the booties. The sole is thick enough to offer protection from sharp objects but I still get a good feel of the board under my feet. The Velcro ankle closure is nice to prevent excessive water ingress.
