At first I was beginning to wonder about the gloves claim. The first day in 25deg weather my fingers were cold. I have Peripheral Neuropathy in my hands so finger get really cold. I didn't give up and continued to wear them. It seems they need to be worn several times I'm guessing, to compact the fluffiness of the lining. After about 6-7 tines I noticed they were feeling warmer and the more I used them the warmer they felt. Happy to say I am very pleased with them. No more cold finger tips in my early morning 1 & 1/2 mile walks for this 81yr fellow.Very nice gloves. Keeps my hands warm. Shipped and Received on time.These gloves should have leather palms and fingers. Why ? In order to have a firmer grip on a steering wheel and shoveling snow. . The woven gloves are warm and soft. You may have problems with the knitted fibers catching onAn item. Yes, I can recommend to purchase them as they fit over your wrist.These are very warm and soft inside. But the fingers are very long, relative to the width of the palms. The person I bought them for has large hands, but the gloves weren't wide enough for him, while the fingers were too long. I kept them as a backup pair of gloves for when I just need warmth, and I can't find my mittens. (Single mittens must run off with single socks because I forever have unmatched sets of both.)I like that they are warm and will keep my hands nice and warmI like these gloves because of how comfortable and warm they are. The problem (and the loss of a star) was due to the durability of them. Things like keys and watch straps cna get caught in the material, and it can stretch. If you're careful, you can't beat them!!!these gloves fit well and are very warm. I wore them out in the elements when the temperature was 35 degrees. They kept my hands warm for over an hour. They really do hold the heat. However, they are easy to damage. While I was doing yardwork I snagged the yarn on both gloves around the thumbs. It's not a big deal as these are small snags and the gloves are still useable. Also, They are not at all fashionable. I would never wear these to work or for a night out.My husband has had the heat holder socks for years and just got these gloves for Christmas. He loves them!! They are so warm and fit great. Wish we would have bought them years ago.My replacement gloves are excellent and the quality I was hoping for. I personally gave my mail carrier the defective pair on December 4, 2018, so you should be receiving them back in the mail soon. Thank you all for your assistance.The gloves are double layered - an outside layer of Acrylic and an inside layer of Polyester, so they are warm, but they do feel thick on my fingers.I have big hands, so the medium/large size is too small. These gloves would probably be better suited to a person who has small/medium sized hands. For those people, they would probably be warm and comfortable.These gloves go up and last wrist for extra warmth. My fingers have never been so warm. It's so warm that my hands sweat. Great gloves.I froze my hands from the first pair and therefore am returning the 2nd pair unopened. To be fair, I have poor circulation and therefore this may be a contributing factor. They may be effective for different people.Great product soft inside the gloves well done
