Did not expect this cable to be running at over 160 F.This may become an issue for the tie straps used to fasten it to the water pipe (I cut them all to length before the cable had been powered up) as they have all become loose due to the high temperature.I suspect this cable is going to burn itself out shortly with a temperature that high, I will update the review if that is the case.Works perfectly well. Thermostat will keep power use to a minimum and heat the pipe to an adequate temperature to do its job.Arrived on time and will be used to keep our water line functioning in winter when the temperature drops to -40C.Bien tester mais pas encor instalerIn but not in use yet
