In general the taste was not bad, however it was not thick at all. It was more like a sauce vs. a salsa. Also one of the jars arrived open which spilled into the box. I told the seller about it and was asked to send a picture....but by this time I had already discarded it. I also expressed to the seller that they should use a more a non-tampering type lid as the ones used are easily removed without any sign of tampering.
